Experience VIP Broadway Shows and Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club with These New York Hotels

The Olivier Award-winning production of Cabaret, which has transferred from London’s West End to the Kit Kat Club in New York, is expected to be one of Broadway’s hottest shows when it opens in April. Securing tickets may be challenging, but one potential solution is the Broadway VIP Experience, launching the same month at the Mandarin Oriental, New York. This package includes a two-night stay, prime orchestra seats, a meet and greet with a starring cast member, and a special gift from the show.

Additional options include transfers to and from the theater in a Mercedes S-Class, a backstage tour, a VIP guided tour of the Museum of Broadway, a private concert by Broadway performers, and even private singing, dancing or acting lessons from a Broadway professional. If guests have already seen Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, other show options include Wicked, Hamilton, SIX, Hadestown, The Lion King, Aladdin, MJ the Musical, and Moulin Rouge! The Musical.

Broadway Plus, the company that coordinates the Broadway ticket program and extra activities for many hotels, has noted an increase in interest. According to Nathaniel Hill, Founder and President of Broadway Plus, tourism has returned to almost pre-pandemic levels and people are attending more shows than ever.

Hotels are offering various packages to attract Broadway fans. The W New York-Times Square offers a Broadway Meet + Greet Experience where guests can converse with a Broadway actor at the hotel’s Living Room Bar. The Intercontinental New York Times Square offers The VIP Musical Experience which includes prime orchestra seats to Spamalot and a backstage visit with a cast member. The Chatwal, New York offers A Diamond Serenade package including premium tickets to A Beautiful Noise, the Neil Diamond Musical, fast pass access to the Broadhurst Theatre, an autographed playbill and property credit for dinner at the Lambs Club.
