Fitness icon Richard Simmons, known for his high-energy workout programs and vibrant personality, has passed away at the age of 76. According to two law enforcement sources who spoke to NBC News, Simmons was found unresponsive in his home in the Hollywood Hills on Saturday morning.
The Los Angeles Police Department and Fire Department arrived at his residence shortly after 10 a.m. and pronounced him dead at the scene. No cause of death has been provided.
