RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA – 12 May 2025: IHG Hotels & Resorts, a global leader in the hospitality industry, has announced the signing of three new hotel projects in Saudi Arabia during the Future Hospitality Summit Riyadh 2025. Partnering with Ashaad, a prominent Saudi real estate developer, IHG will introduce Hotel Indigo Jeddah Gate, InterContinental Al Khobar Al Hamra, and voco Al Khobar Al Andalus—further reinforcing its commitment to supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the Kingdom’s growing tourism sector.
The three properties, scheduled to open between 2028 and 2030, will collectively add over 1,700 rooms to IHG’s expanding portfolio in the country. Each hotel will operate under IHG’s management agreements, strengthening the company’s presence in key Saudi cities.
InterContinental Al Khobar Al Hamra
Set to feature 326 rooms, InterContinental Al Khobar Al Hamra will bring a new level of luxury to Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. Located next to the upscale Al Shubaily Grand Mall, the hotel will offer premium accommodations and services tailored for both business and leisure travelers. Positioned in the heart of the Dammam metropolitan area, this property will serve one of the region’s most vibrant markets.
voco Al Khobar Al Andalus
As part of IHG’s fastest-growing premium brand, voco Al Khobar Al Andalus will offer 717 rooms designed to deliver a warm, inviting, and stylish guest experience. Located near the Corniche and other key attractions, the hotel will embody voco’s signature elements—‘Come on in’, ‘Me time’, and ‘voco life’—providing a unique blend of comfort and character for modern travelers.
Hotel Indigo Jeddah Gate
With 700 rooms, Hotel Indigo Jeddah Gate will be situated within a dynamic mixed-use development that includes residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces. Just minutes from Jeddah’s historic Al Balad District, the Jeddah Central Development, and the Royal Court, the hotel will offer guests an immersive experience that reflects the local culture and community. It aims to meet the increasing demand for lifestyle-focused accommodations in southern Jeddah.
