On September 12, 2024, the MICHELIN Guide unveiled its latest selection of One, Two, and Three Key hotels across the United States. This marks the second-ever announcement of MICHELIN Keys in the U.S., expanding the list to include hotels from a wider range of locations beyond the initial select few. The MICHELIN Guide now features more than 5,000 hotels worldwide, each offering more than just a place to sleep—they are destinations that enhance the travel experience.
Each hotel is rigorously evaluated based on five key criteria: architecture and interior design, service quality and consistency, personality and character, value for money, and the overall contribution to the guest experience in its unique setting. The MICHELIN Keys, akin to the MICHELIN Stars for restaurants, represent the highest level of distinction for hotels.
For 2024, the MICHELIN Guide’s U.S. hotel selection includes 16 Three Key hotels, 70 Two Key hotels, and 207 One Key hotels. Curious about the MICHELIN Key system?
