**Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando Teams Up with U.S. Hunger to Package 450,000 Meals**
ORLANDO, Fla. — Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando Resort joined forces with Longwood-based nonprofit U.S. Hunger this weekend to package 450,000 meals for those in need.
The initiative, part of the Good Neighbor Community outreach program, saw Universal Hotels hosting hunger projects on Saturday. According to a news release, the meals will be distributed across Central Florida and to communities recovering from Hurricanes Milton and Helene.
Nearly 3,000 volunteers, including Loews Hotel team members, guests, families, and partners, participated in the effort. Working in an assembly-line format, they packaged meals at several Universal Orlando properties, including Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort, Universal Aventura Hotel, and Universal Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites.
Loews Hotels has been committed to combating hunger for over 11 years, having prepared more than 3 million meals to support communities in need.
