New Luxury Tropical-Chic Hotels and Resorts Opening in the Caribbean: Spotlight on Silversands Beach House

These new luxury properties in the Caribbean are like a dream come true for those who fantasize about being castaways.

The Silversands Beach House in Grenada is one of two major hotel openings in the country this year. This intimate tropical retreat, a sister property to Silversands, has just 28 rooms with canopies, nestled on a bluff overlooking Portici Beach. The property also features a new Mediterranean-Caribbean fusion restaurant, Azzuro. Room rates start at $630.

Another exciting opening in Grenada is the Six Senses La Sagesse, set to open its doors in May 2024. Located on the island’s southern shores in a sheltered beach cove, this eco-friendly resort will feature 56 pool suites and 15 villas, a variety of restaurants including SeaFire, and a signature Six Senses spa. Room rates start at $1,001.

The Peter Island Resort, located near Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, is not a new resort but is set to reopen this year after being destroyed by Hurricane Irma in 2017. The private island resort, which will reopen in October 2024 after a six-year transformation, will feature 52 rooms, a 10,000-square-foot spa, and a swimming pool overlooking Deadman’s Beach. The resort will also introduce a new Yacht Club with another pool for guests to enjoy. Room rates start at $1,000 per night.

Sandals Saint Vincent in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is set to open in March 2024. This all-inclusive property will feature 301 rooms, including two-story overwater villas – a first for the brand. All-inclusive rates start from $423 per person per night.
