Dallas-based Omni Hotels & Resorts has named Trip Riggs as its new chief financial officer. In his new role, Riggs will be responsible for managing the company’s finance and accounting functions.
Riggs will report directly to Omni’s President, Kurt Alexander, and will play a crucial role in driving performance and growth within the executive leadership team. Alexander commended Riggs for his proven track record of leading high-performing teams and expressed enthusiasm about having him join the team.
Alexander stated that Riggs’ expertise would enable Omni to further solidify its unique owner-operator-brand position in the industry.
Before joining Omni Hotels & Resorts, Riggs served as co-president and CFO at Balfour Senior Living in Louisville, Colorado. He was responsible for leading enterprise-wide financial performance and managing the new development pipeline. His previous experience also includes roles as divisional CFO for hospitality and real estate at Vail Resorts and in development and portfolio management at Stonebridge Companies.
Omni Hotels & Resorts highlighted that Riggs’ appointment comes at a critical time as the company is committed to providing exceptional guest experiences across its portfolio of over 50 distinct hotels and resorts throughout North America.
The company also stated that Riggs, along with other key members of the executive team, will play a significant role in shaping Omni’s future growth strategy and driving its implementation.
