Woman Reserves 191 Hotel Rooms for Taylor Swift Concert Weekend in New Orleans, Boosting Tourism

**New Orleans Hotels Fully Booked for Taylor Swift’s Weekend Concerts**

**NEW ORLEANS (WVUE)** – Finding a hotel room in New Orleans this weekend is proving to be a challenge, as the city’s accommodations are nearly sold out due to Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated three-night concert series at the Caesars Superdome.

When Taylor Swift announced her New Orleans stop on *The Eras Tour*, Metairie native Rebecca Fox wasted no time securing hotel rooms. Initially, she reserved 20 rooms, but as demand grew, she ended up booking 191 rooms at the Holiday Inn on Loyola Avenue.

“They were hesitant at first,” Fox said, referring to the hotel management. “But once their marketing and sales team realized the impact Taylor Swift could have on their business, they came around. It’s been exciting ever since.”

Fox, who attended one of Swift’s concerts in Arizona, noticed the steep rise in hotel prices during the event. Some hotels even doubled their rates after bookings were made. Determined to prevent Swift fans in New Orleans from facing similar issues, Fox paid nearly $500 per room and fielded hundreds of Facebook inquiries from fans looking for accommodations. She emphasized that she did not increase the price for the rooms and is not profiting from the bookings.

“We want to make sure New Orleans is the most welcoming, safest, and enjoyable place for everyone,” Fox said.

Tourism officials predict that *The Eras Tour* will bring a significant economic boost to the city. Hotels are fully booked on Friday and Saturday nights, with 80% occupancy expected on Sunday.

“This is bigger than just New Orleans,” said Mark Romig of New Orleans & Company. “It’s impacting Uptown, Mid-City, the North Shore, Jefferson Parish, St. Bernard Parish, and surrounding areas. Visitors use New Orleans as a base and spend money throughout the region.”

While the exact economic impact of the tour is difficult to predict, tourism leaders believe the benefits will extend across the state.

“These visitors become ambassadors for the city, sharing their experiences on social media,” Romig added. “It means more people will be drawn to New Orleans, and no one does it better than we do.”

Even non-Swifties are feeling the excitement. Candice Wright, who isn’t a fan of Swift, said she’s noticed the buzz leading up to the sold-out shows and is eager to see the creative, *Eras*-themed outfits fans will wear.

“One thing New Orleans knows how to do is bring out the costumes and creativity,” Wright said. “Everyone’s going to have a great time.”
